Ahhh, I’ve been looking forward to sharing Costance’s shoot with you for so long! Just like my home session with Juliette and Simeon, this shoot was born from the feeling of wanting to try something new. Bringing fresh energy from Paris, letting my inspiration flow freely, and ideally, keeping things very clean and simple.
Well, I managed to capture that feeling while photographing Constance. As you may have seen in my Insta stories, we were able to share a beautiful moment. It was wonderfully warm that November morning, Edith Piaf was playing in the background, and Constance wore nothing but a white shirt. We chatted and laughed as she danced freely around this beautiful Parisian apartment. Barefoot. It was a dream.
It was important to me that she was 100% herself during the shoot. I didn’t want to give too many instructions but rather give her the space to unfold and feel comfortable. During our session, I wanted her to be exactly as she is: calm, sweet, free, feminine, confident, and playful. As I was shooting, I imagined her showing these pictures to her grandchildren one day, telling them who she once was. From the very first moment, she embraced the experience and let me take her on this journey.
